un petit coin de paradis avec ce soleil
Aha...I wouldn't have thought of that either! I love all the layers of colors in this photo.
Como quero estar ai... como quero. Será este ano de certo. Belíssima imagem, lindo o teu país.
And a gorgeous sunset it is!! Breathtaking capture, JM! Have a lovely evening!Sylvia
What a beautiful sunset!
Interesting fact and what a superb photo. Well done Diane
Bello muy bello.
I didn't know this! Is possible all the year round?
Wow - gorgeous!
Divin ! J'avais oublié ... Merci !
I had never thought of it but yes, of course! You caught just the right moment!
Excellent composition of sunset !
Interesting! I did not know that
This is pretty fantastic...and what really makes the sunset are the other colors...of the water and the beach!
JM,Your comment at «Louis'» Wordless Wednesday post left him laughing!;-DFabulous sunset here!
How beautiful! An acquaintance once told me he loved Mediterranean countries like Portugal. When I pointed out that Portugal was on the Atlantic Ocean coastline he looked dumbfounded and said - "Oh, yes, I suppose so..."
And I have a glass of wine and would love to watch it with you JM!V
Really? I've never thought of that! Although you can watch the sun setting in Stockholm and Finland too...
On the East coast of Australia we don't see the sun set over the sea but the sunrises are nice.
Lovely, so relaxing.I just sent a postcard to a school Guimaraes for their art project, since Guirmaraes is the Cultural Capital of Europe in 2012. Thanks for you nice comments, glad you like my logo.Have a great day.
Breathtaking scenery! :)Léia
Absolutely spectacular sunset JM, beautifully composed image.
And that would be enough to make it my favorite capital! What a bautifu picture!
Only European capital ???Perhaps they did not take our peripheral country as European ;)I just admired glorious sunset few days ago in our capital Helsinki over the sea and hated the situation where I did not possibility to take photo :)So you can think also latitudes and times of sunsets, I can tell that you can see sunsets over the sea in Helsinki during winters. See this:http://www.flickr.com/photos/taivasalla/3233794715/in/set-72157603905381434Not my photo!
@Leena: Thank you so much for letting me know about this! You know, before posting this I was looking at the european map and wondered about the sunsets in Tirana (Albania), but actually this city is not by the sea. Helsinky never ocurred to me because I thought it was facing east. And if you think Finland is peripheric, what shall I say about Portugal in this corner of Europe? LOL!
