Beautiful pictures, love the colours. In regards to my Screaming Mummies post on Friday, I am unsure of the age of the mummies as I found the images online. Unfortunately they had no or little information with them.Herding Cats
The sun and heart are wonderful! So are the tiles.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: what a fun, colorful festival.
c est superbement decore ;o)
I love your festival-images.Greetingsorvokki
I am just so amazed at all the colors, just love, love, love that first shot.
Calm before the storm... yes?
Strangely interesting !
all is quiet before the storm. :)
They've really gone to town with the decorations JM.. J'adore the tile work on the house in the last image, it almost needs no decoration it's so pretty by itself!
I love this series!
Oh, yes! Colorful and fun indeed! Wish I could have been there! I have so enjoyed this series, JM!! Thanks for sharing the colorful fun! Hope you have a great week! Sam Schnauzer sends you a doggie kiss!!Sylvia
That was fun. Thanks for the five posts. I now know five times more about the feast day than I did a week ago.
So colourful...Reminds me of the festas juninas from childhood...God bless you!Cezar
I especially like the top photo! I still can't get over all the color everywhere.
All these decorations are very colorful and festive. But it seems like so much work and energy expended. I guess many people feel it's worthwhile.
You have a lot of festivals, JM. That is a good thing!
Nice! Now I find myself wondering what it looked like afterwards!
The decorations are getting better and better!
I had no idea - these posts are the first I've heard about the festival. And all over an Italian saint who seems to be good for what ails you, whatever that is. I can imagine these streets exploding..
I like the heart in the first shot. Where are the crowds.
Thanks for sharing this great and colorful event with us!:)
