Beautiful pictures, love the colours.

In regards to my Screaming Mummies post on Friday, I am unsure of the age of the mummies as I found the images online. Unfortunately they had no or little information with them.

They've really gone to town with the decorations JM.. J'adore the tile work on the house in the last image, it almost needs no decoration it's so pretty by itself!

That was fun. Thanks for the five posts. I now know five times more about the feast day than I did a week ago.

I especially like the top photo! I still can't get over all the color everywhere.

All these decorations are very colorful and festive. But it seems like so much work and energy expended. I guess many people feel it's worthwhile.

You have a lot of festivals, JM. That is a good thing!

Nice! Now I find myself wondering what it looked like afterwards!

The decorations are getting better and better!

I had no idea - these posts are the first I've heard about the festival. And all over an Italian saint who seems to be good for what ails you, whatever that is. I can imagine these streets exploding..

I like the heart in the first shot. Where are the crowds.
