A lovely sight as you pass by by train. We have them here in Australia as well, especially at the gates of an old farmstead. We have a couple on our farm (circa 1850). They are very drought resistant.

I don't think I'm familiar with this plant but it certainly is beautiful ... hope the blooms last for awhile.

And the graffiti! Is there anyplace in that area that isn't covered with the stuff? Sheesh!
