The cathedral is beautiful but so is the laundry. A nice juxtaposition.

Nice catch! Can't do that around here. Thus, we all have dryers. And the clothes don't smell as nice. :(

I like to imagine about the lives of the people whose laundry I see hanging out publicly for the world to see.

A typical Portuguese scene. Or at least in my imagination. Love it!

Some people that live in big cities still have small town costumes. Lovely image. Hugs.

The laundry is quite common here too, the light of this image is great and so is the cathedral in background!

A great shot as always, JM! I love the contrast in time -- ancient cathedral and todays laundry! Wonderful! Hope your week is going well!

Hmmmm. 2° here this evening, the laundry would freeze. What a fantastic photo, all the centuries coming together.

The laundry is an indication that life goes on around the cathedral. Love it!

I have always followed your posts, and salute your lovely shots, but this blog on your country at least lets me know it even through your own eyes, as i might not be able to see it in person in this lifetime!

This is grander, but reminds me of a street in Taormina. That bit of Gothic is a delightful surprise.
