How they figured out the engineering and architectural calculations to know that stone Romanesque and Gothic cathedrals would be structurally sound is amazing to me, even in the 21st Century.

Interessante o efeito que a luz provoca tanto no interior bem como no exterior. Por vezes surpreende. Este tom dourado está fantástico.

Gorgeous golden light. I love that has likely not changed in almost a millenium!

So beautiful! Like Dave I'm always amazed at the engineering to build soaring structures like these, old or new. But it's particularly impressive to consider it in an era well before the industrial age.

I'm impressed. It's hard to capture that light without washing it out. You are a maestro!

Again JM, the age of your cathedrals is mind boggling to me. I can only imagine what it must feel like to sit here surrounded by history, fabulous.

Remenber. I think I had spend Chrismass mess there.

But it is long ago.
