Whenever I see tiles and patterns such as these I think of you, JM and all of your wonderful post that introduce us to a tradition of your country. All are so artistic and picturesque!

What elegance! It's really stunning. Those tiles, well, all of the decorative work is gorgeous...I can see a formal ball being held here, and there's even a sort of throne for the master/mistress of the house. The other thing that struck me is all the wonderful woodwork and tables and benches. I love wood!

Your photos are superb - I really enjoyed this post.

And thank you for the explanation. I was just curious. It's a nice title!

The details are just stunning. I know this is very old and that's what makes it all the more spectacular. I'd love to see this and all the other beautiful architecture you've shown us from your country.

The craftsmanship in the older times was incredible and when you consider there were no power tools or computers it makes it even more amazing! Wonderful.

This place is truly stunning! It must be wonderful to live in a place with so many rich cultural influences. I don't think I'd ever tire of taking it all in.

It's probably more Moorish than Arab, but it is an extraordinary and wonderful building!

Não conheci este palácio. Belíssima arquitetura árabe. E está bem preservado.

This is so beautiful. Tiles but different from the type you usually show -- definitely a feeling of Arabia.

It's definitely not decay :)

Ouah. beautifull.
I love mauresque architecture. Is that a private patio ?. Lucky people ! Out side the noise of the city, but still, in the city.
