This month was the worst March in 40 years. Portugal received four times its average rainfall.

Very beautiful with the tiles!

Rain in Costa Rica is a good thing because 98% of our electricity comes from dams that store the rain water. Electricity during the dry season depends upon the rain during the rest of the year. Of course too much rain all at once is a problem.

Four times the average is quite a lot more than usual. Other place are getting no moisture at all. The weather patterns are certainly changing.

Our springs are always rainy -- but then so is the rest of the year!! But we have had a very mild winter and no snow and that's the good thing! Hope your weekend is going well, JM! Enjoy!

Please send some of that rain our way - we've got a drought that's been going on for years, and there's water rationing in my town this summer. That's a very pretty place, even if it's muddy I'd enjoy sitting on that bench in your sunny weather.

That is a lot of rain.
Well, tile benches might be easier to wash to mud off of.

At least you didn't get so much snow. Nice old bench.

It's been a strange March here too! Colder than normal and snow on a lot of the days. I'm glad April is coming! It is beautiful and sunny today though.

It seems wild weather is common around the globe these days. But the guy who heads up our House of Representatives Science Committee doesn't believe in Global Warming!

That bench is beautiful as are the entire grounds from what I can see, but you'd need a little shovel to get rid of the mud before sitting down! :)

It seems that the world is in one of its cycles ... back to 40 years ago weather around here too. It wasn't so long ago we were saying, the weather is not like it was in the 70s then bang we are back there.

Four times the usual is probably four times too much! As Lowell said, we have many Republicans in the U.S. who won't believe a thing about global warming - it's some kind of "liberal" idea. . .

It's still lovely. Nothing a good rain won't fix.

You have blue skies at least!

It's been the coldest March on record and April looks as if we will have snow instead of spring...

That is the kind of rainfall we pray for.
A pity it left a mess behind.
