I think I have a tree foot fetish. I just love the way they dig their fingers into the soil or any crevice they can hang onto. Beautiful tree and shot.
We are heading up north in the winter and I expect will be visiting tropical rain forests where we will see root systems and buttressed trees like this.

Oh boy...that reminds me of our ficus trees in south Florida. Looks like a bunch of octopuses! Great shot!
