Some of my readers might eventually remember my friend Maria I posted on on "The Creative Artisan" CDP Theme Day. She decided to show part of her work now and has chosen an amazing place for the current exhibition: a fantastic decayed old building in Lisbon which is actually being restored (some of the huge apartments have already been sold).
It's great what she can do from trash.

very nice!
Quite impressive. And I find these kinds of pieces much more attractive than a lot of the brand-new stuff that is made of pressed wood and water! :)
It's nice to see old items recycled and made to use again maybe a different way. Creativity is priceless!!
What a creative person! We all could use less and recondition and reuse more. Kudos to your friend!
what a unique and very cool display!
A creative lady indeed and a talent like hers is indeed priceless! Terrific shots for the day, JM! Thanks for sharing! Have a great weekend!
Her work is stunning, I absolutely LOVE that third piece. I was thinking as I was thumbing through them, what a perfect venue for an art show. Maria has a great eye for style and flair.
Now that's trash I'd like to have!
Good job.
Brava Maria! Love her actual work and the way it is exhibited...
Wonderful follow-up to your 'Creative Artisan' post. Like Maria's choice of venue for her super exhibit.
Great work & a great place!
I love it!
Gorgeous shots! Love the top shot most.
Looks great, JM!
She's an artist al-right.
I do love the Mediterranean styles!!
Yes, I remember! This is fantastic!
I love Maria's work. Send her my compliments, will you? ;-)
Kind regards from the Netherlands,

Un beso.
Yes, really fabulous. And your shots display her work to perfection in this setting!
Amazing the treasures that can be found and created with recycled materials!
That first shot is mesmerizing. If I saw it hanging in a shop, I'd be very tempted to take it home.
(I like the cables in that first pictures, like life lines sneaking in, carrying oxygen into the antechamber.)
Perfect venue for lovely restored furniture!
