"Reabilita" (Recycled Furniture Exhibit) - 1 of 2

Some of my readers might eventually remember my friend Maria I posted on on "The Creative Artisan" CDP Theme Day. She decided to show part of her work now and has chosen an amazing place for the current exhibition: a fantastic decayed old building in Lisbon which is actually being restored (some of the huge apartments have already been sold).
It's great what she can do from trash.

Quite impressive. And I find these kinds of pieces much more attractive than a lot of the brand-new stuff that is made of pressed wood and water! :)

It's nice to see old items recycled and made to use again maybe a different way. Creativity is priceless!!

What a creative person! We all could use less and recondition and reuse more. Kudos to your friend!

Her work is stunning, I absolutely LOVE that third piece. I was thinking as I was thumbing through them, what a perfect venue for an art show. Maria has a great eye for style and flair.

Amazing the treasures that can be found and created with recycled materials!

That first shot is mesmerizing. If I saw it hanging in a shop, I'd be very tempted to take it home.

(I like the cables in that first pictures, like life lines sneaking in, carrying oxygen into the antechamber.)
