Ha! Signs are the bane of photographers, and all too often mar a perfect composition, inexpugnablly so . Next come power lines. Or is it vice versa?

It's happened to me many times. But, I like the photo anyway.

still looks great, though.

I forgot to mention to you that I love that coach museum in London. I couldn't believe how many ornate coaches there were.

This happens to me all the time. It is either signs or wires, always in the way. But the building is still beautiful.

Still a great shot it is in spite of the sign and we do see them everywhere these days, don't we!!!

Your eyes are initially drawn to the roof lines, so it's not that noticeable. Nice building.

Not that you notice when you take pictures. And then it is too late.
A nice picture, however.
(I can see that you have really hot weather, +32 C. Huh.)

What traffic sign JM :) There's so many more fab details to look at, I thought the clothes hanging on the balcony were a flag at first :))

You are right: I have seen this countless times, almost everywhere. I do not pretend that street sin are placed for the benefit of photographers, but a bit more care won't be bad...

A friend of mine, when he went to take pictures, he always took not only the camera but also a saw :)

Still a nice photo, JM!

They do seem to put them in inconvenient locations sometimes! ;-)

Bummer!... great shot all the same.

Oh my gosh JM, I was thinking it was the museum in London. Wow, there are really a lot of elaborate coaches in the world!

You're being too dramatic and silly! :) The photo isn't ruined at all. It is still quite striking and a beautiful architectural study. Furthermore, a few minutes with Photoshop and that nasty ol' sign would be gone bye-bye! :)

I do agree with you...but I still love your photo. :)

The shot would crop nicely, but then none of us could complain about those darned sign posts (and power lines).

I try to move so that the sign is out of the image, but if it is still there, it is OK. It is no different than power lines, a symbol of our modern life.

I think it compliments the colorful laundry on that balcony.

Yes, plenty of misplaced traffic signs here in Malaysia too!
