Must be great to be able to do that but much safer just watching.
When I was at the beach I tried to take a photograph of the surfers and didn't manage to get an interesting shot.As always you are way ahead of me.
Right now so you've got me humming the Beach Boys... :-)
i tried surfing as a kid...was much better at just sitting on the beach watching :)
They are so brave! I would be worried even if only taking pictures...
Great looking beach, Jose, and I'm with Ciel -- you've got me humming the Beach Boys, too!! Enjoy your weekend!!
Ah, summer, and the Beach Boys! ;-)
The waters look marvelously appealing!
won't be long for us before we could trek to the beaches also.
I bet they couldn't wait to get out there again.
Obviously much warmer than it is here!! Great shot. Diane
I surfed briefly in Hawaii...long, long ago. It doesn't look quite as gentle at Carcavelos Beach.
Oh, it's lovely there!
Nice shot! Never tried it and I grew up within walking distance of the ocean. Many of my friends did though and I enjoyed watching them.
Looks like a fun day.
Looks a lot like Dave's (and occasionally my) pictures of the surfers on Tamarindo beach. But from some of your older photos I think the Portuguese surf can be much bigger.
Looks like fun. Either the water is warm enough? We do not have as big waves and not so warm sea as you have.Lovely image.Hugs
Looks inviting if a little cold.
Portugal is a favorite holiday location for many of my friends. We have family who love the surfing too. Now I know why!
