When I was at the beach I tried to take a photograph of the surfers and didn't manage to get an interesting shot.As always you are way ahead of me.

I surfed briefly in Hawaii...long, long ago. It doesn't look quite as gentle at Carcavelos Beach.

Nice shot! Never tried it and I grew up within walking distance of the ocean. Many of my friends did though and I enjoyed watching them.

Looks a lot like Dave's (and occasionally my) pictures of the surfers on Tamarindo beach. But from some of your older photos I think the Portuguese surf can be much bigger.

We do not have as big waves and not so warm sea as you have.

Portugal is a favorite holiday location for many of my friends. We have family who love the surfing too. Now I know why!
