Wonderful old wall, great history and beautiful skies!! Doesn't get any better for those with a camera! Terrific capture, JM, as always! Enjoy your weekend!!
This Moorish Wall certainly looks in good shape considering its age. It was probably an effective deterrent, also, 'cause it would be hard to scale those walls.
Looks like a sunny day. Hope you received some warmth, too!
I love more architecture. The one you can see aswell in Andalousia. Dans Lisbonne, si je me rappelle bien, il y a des vestiges d'autres envahisseurs, comme les Wisigoth, pas vrais ?
@Beatrice: Yes, it's true. A couple of years ago they found a Visigothic necropolis right in the middle of a street at Cascais: http://oeirasdailyphoto.blogspot.pt/2009/03/bones-under-your-feet.html
The one I remember was not so big, but colomnes in a privat garden. Don't know about new discovery. How did they discoved in the middle of the steet ? Digging for electricity or else ?

I remember some Moorish castle or wall near Sintra, but I am not sure about it...
Looks impressive. I like shadows on it.
Love the composition of this one!

The shadows across this wall are a nice touch. It's amazing to me that something like this is still standing after so many years and earthquakes. . .
I can't get over all of the beautiful things in your city.

A arquitetura é um precioso registro.
Fascinating to think that wall has been standing in that spot for so long JM.
